Summer school of Peace is a longlasting project of Youth for Peace organization, in partnership with Caritas Italiana, Caritas Vittorio Veneto and Caritas Banjaluka.
Summer school is a 10 days long gatherning od young people aged 18-25 coming from Veneto region (Italy) and young people coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The school represents a mixture of educational contents, voluntary actions and educative-touristic visits to the places and cities of Banjaluka region, as well as to capital of BiH, Sarajevo.
The aim of the school is to bring closer youth from Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina, provide them with time, space and activities to meet each other, through learning, exchange of experiences, voluntary actions, and all that while helping and contributing to the community of Banjaluka and those who are in need. Through the school’s program, topics, actions and activities YfP aims to help in connecting and bringing young people closer, breaking prejudices and stereotypes, getting to know Italian and BiH culture, exchange ideas among young people, and by that empowering them and opening their minds for different cultures, customs and traditions.
